Michael McRuiz is an artist/photographer based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he has been Assistant Professor of Digital Media at Tulsa Community College. He studied painting at the University of Tulsa, earning BFA and MA degrees. He took up photography shortly after his education and approaches the medium from a painter's perspective with a keen awareness of the principles and elements of design.
